The average time in the water is 2.5-3 hours – that is taking into account travel time to the Bay and the orientation video from the Bay itself.

The time selected is based on what the average guest needs to fully enjoy the Bay without over-tiring. Some tire a little sooner and others wish to stay longer. Please consider other transportation options if you want to stay all day.

We are a transportation company that provides extras like snorkeling equipment, flotation, and tips on where and how to snorkel. Your time at the beach is self-directed.

Our transportation/snorkel use service is all-inclusive. Round-trip transportation from your hotel, dry snorkels, fins, prescription lenses, flotation, snorkeling/Bay tips and general great service comes standard with your “tour” fee, however, the Bay itself imposes a required park fee of $7.50 for everyone over 12 years old. Any additional costs are optional:
Underwater camera rental: $25, includes re-usable SD card
Lockers: $8-$10
Beach tram: $2.50 round trip
Snacks: May be brought with you or purchased onsite -
Hanauma Bay does not have it’s own shuttle service-all shuttle services are private party. We are not a part of Hanauma Bay, but do enjoy spending time there and want to share the experience with others in a safe, responsible manner.

No! What you will mostly encounter in the shallow interior of the barrier reef is algae and mostly brownish or plain colored coral. This is all very healthy and alive and must be treated carefully as it is the perfect food for the fish that live in the Bay as well as essential for the survival of the ecosystem.
